Senior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities: - Lead back‑end development of on‑premises software solutions. - Write, test (unit, module, sub‑system), and document code for new features and maintenance. - Perform analysis, problem solving, and implementation of enhancements. - Work primarily at the application level while leveraging lower‑level experience when needed. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions meet business goals and specifications. What We're Looking For: - 6 to 10 years of professional software development experience. - At least 6 years of hands‑on experience with Go, including its application framework. - Strong understanding of Kubernetes, networking concepts, and certificate handling. - Familiarity with cloud and edge architectures and virtualization technologies. - Ability to draft implementation proposals and communicate technical solutions. - Experience developing on both Linux and Windows platforms. - Solid grasp of business objectives and ability to translate them into technical specifications. - Technical skills include: * Go (application framework) * MQTT and backend design patterns for MQTT * RESTful services * Google Protocol Buffers * Container orchestration tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm * Programming languages: Core Java, C++, Python * Relational databases * Operating systems: Linux (primary) and basic Windows knowledge * Version control: Git (GitHub) * Build automation: Jenkins - Familiarity with Agile development principles is a plus. - Experience with Git, Jenkins, Protocol Buffers, and testing frameworks such as Google Test is advantageous. - Prior experience in the medical technology or similar regulated industry is desirable.
