Application Security and SAP Authorization Consultant

Key Responsibilities: - Manage role and authorization administration in SAP, including operational support, ticket resolution, and changes. - Oversee the central Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tool for application management and integration with key global applications. - Ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices. - Align functional and non‑functional business requirements with IT stakeholders to deliver appropriate solutions. - Develop SAP authorization concepts for project implementations. - Drive improvements for self‑service fulfillment of SAP roles and authorizations, including future IGA/IDM tool enhancements. - Process SAP user accounts and authorization requests, providing production support. - Design, build, test, and implement technical solutions for new business authorization requirements. - Collaborate efficiently with security officers, SAP application teams, and SAP Basis teams to maintain technical security. - Support future implementations of central IGA and SAP IDM tools. What We're Looking For: - More than 4 years of experience in SAP Security and Authorization. - Deep understanding of SAP Authorization concepts, role‑based access control, segregation of duties, and sensitive access management. - Ability to interpret business risk areas and implement appropriate SAP security policies and processes. - Proven experience implementing IDM/IGA solutions within SAP and other applications such as Salesforce or Workday. - Strong communication skills for coordination with business units and external providers. - Experience working in production support environments. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
