Testing Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Manage end‑to‑end quality assurance across Agile/DevOps, hybrid, and waterfall SDLC methodologies. - Own test strategy and planning, track progress, and report accurately to the team and leadership. - Lead GUI and API automation projects, implement delivery excellence processes, and measure/publish automation ROI. - Drive automation adoption within manual testing teams and transform manual resources to automation practice. - Provide solutions to project challenges without unnecessary escalations. - Leverage banking domain knowledge to guide discussions with business teams and set realistic expectations. - Support pre‑sales activities, including documentation and customer presentations. - Engage customers to establish effective QA processes, methodologies, workflows, metrics, and reporting. - Lead daily scrum meetings and champion quality objectives. - Facilitate inter‑team communication across multiple agile projects and present aggregate testing utilization to senior management. - Mentor testers, support their professional development, and conduct regular career‑goal reviews. - Act as an escalation point for testing issues. What We're Looking For: - 10–12 years of total relevant experience, including strong test management across agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. - Proven experience managing automation (GUI & API) and unified projects that combine automation and manual testing. - 2–4 years of hands‑on automation experience on web, mobile, and API platforms. - Banking domain expertise, particularly with Indian banks and sub‑domains such as core banking, lending, and payments. - Effective communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly to diverse stakeholders. - Strong technical acumen and a data‑driven approach to processes. - Strategic influencing abilities to guide and motivate team members and stakeholders. - Capability to visualize abstract client specifications into real‑time business scenarios. - Solid automation foundation to stay current with tools and understand client needs. - Strong negotiation skills for managing stakeholder expectations. - Team‑player mindset focused on building a collaborative, supportive team environment. - Excellent analytical skills for detailed data analysis and monitoring.
