Performance Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a subject matter expert on application performance testing, guiding test engineers. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, scenarios, and test plans using performance testing tools. - Execute performance tests, process and verify results, and produce clear, concise reports. - Manage and mentor junior resources, ensuring effective task grooming and knowledge transfer. - Review, prioritize, and escalate bugs and enhancements to development teams based on severity. - Analyze user requirements and existing test artifacts to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage. - Generate defect reports and communicate findings to project management. - Analyze system and application architecture to identify additional testing entry points and reduce risk. - Perform complex analysis of business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive performance testing. What We're Looking For: - 2 to 9 years of experience in performance testing. - Hands‑on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad. - Ability to perform root‑cause analysis of performance issues. - Experience designing and developing automated test scripts and scenarios. - Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Management) tools for troubleshooting. - Good knowledge of Agile methodology and quality/testing concepts. - Strong communication skills. - Desired: exposure to Silk Performer, VSTS, or additional load testing tools; understanding of APM tools.
