Test Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Review effort estimates and impact assessments for test execution planning. - Define and review test processes, ensuring adherence to identified processes. - Identify and manage risks throughout the testing phase. - Manage resource movements, including ramp‑up, ramp‑down, team building, and knowledge transfers. - Identify resources, organize the team, and assign roles and responsibilities. - Plan, schedule, and track the testing phase of applications for multiple test leads. - Report progress at the release level and participate in internal and external reviews with customers. - Manage escalations related to schedule slippages or resource non‑performance. - Track efforts against approved budgets and review/finalize program or project budgets. - Monitor project parameters such as schedule, quality, profitability, utilization, productivity, scope, and risks. What We're Looking For: - 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in a service‑based environment. - 5+ years of proven project leadership experience. - Hands‑on experience implementing at least five mid‑size accounts. - Strong knowledge of the General Insurance domain (GI preferred). - Experience handling multiple clients and exposure to multiple domains and project life cycles (functional, performance, and security testing). - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong technical acumen with a data‑driven approach. - Ability to influence strategically and adapt diverse influencing methods. - Skill in visualizing business scenarios from client specifications. - Solid foundation in test automation and familiarity with automation tools. - Educational background: B.Tech/B.E. (good academic record) and preferably an MBA. - PMP, PRINCE II, or Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus. - Possession of 1–2 globally recognized certifications.
