Business Analyst (Analytics)

Key Responsibilities: - Data Analytics: Understand business data and information requirements, develop and maintain data assets, act as liaison between business and IT project teams to create optimal data views, participate in analytics projects, gather data for data‑driven recommendations and make analytics accessible to internal and external customers. - Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency of analytics landscape, data and information architectures; develop requirements, documents and reports to transition from legacy tools to analytical platforms; establish operating standards, guidelines and procedures for analytics initiatives. - Solution Delivery: Support analytics aspects of solution development from concept through implementation; ensure solutions meet or exceed business requirements; anticipate customer needs and recommend feature enhancements; foster strong alignment and collaboration between business, solution design, and IT teams; collaborate with strategic application development partners for planning and execution. - Automation Expertise: Translate data modeling, data warehouse, and data lake requirements into technical solutions; apply industry best practices in automation and analytics; explore emerging technologies such as AI, machine‑learning, RPA, IoT and assess their relevance; manage change control and perform impact analysis; own deliverables including report designs and process improvements. - Business Outcomes: Champion the transition from legacy tools and processes, define a digital strategy roadmap, and deliver data and information that reduces data replication, improves consistency, and enhances accessibility; monitor customer satisfaction through periodic surveys; build strong relationships with application management partners and drive continuous improvement of maintenance services. What We're Looking For: - Education: BE/BTech or MBA (IT, Analytics, Finance, or Operations Management) from a recognized institute; engineering degree from a top institute (e.g., REC/NIT, BITS, IIT) is desirable. - Experience: 6‑7 years of relevant analytics experience and 8‑10 years total IT industry experience. - Functional Skills: Ability to implement processes and controls; deep experience implementing enterprise‑wide business applications and leading teams in an automation environment; strong understanding of strategic issues and systems; expertise in data modeling, data warehouses, and data lakes; familiarity with AI, machine‑learning, RPA, IoT; capability to conduct change control management and impact analysis; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Interactions: Regular collaboration with business end users, IT project teams, Centers of Excellence, and external vendors or service providers.
