Snowflake Admin/Developer

Key Responsibilities: - Document systems and analytics solutions for the business, translating complex functionality into business‑relevant language. - Analyze and build existing or new data stores and interfaces to support current and future data models. - Partner with enterprise data management and strategy on business glossary implementation, governance, and stewardship. - Collaborate with information architecture to create logical/canonical and physical data models aligned with conceptual models, and facilitate data‑requirements elicitation through interviews, document analysis, workshops, etc. - Assist with the development and enforcement of data‑modeling standards, data definitions, and data‑management reviews, working with report developers to align dataset design with report design. - Administer and manage the Snowflake instance, including database management, auditing, and compliance tasks. What We're Looking For: - Advanced SQL skills. - Knowledge of star schema, snowflake schema, and logical data models. - Experience with data development and design in a large‑scale, enterprise environment, including relational and dimensional data modeling concepts and data governance. - Ability to build and maintain stored procedures. - Experience writing complex SQL, analyzing query performance, query tuning, managing indexes, partitions, and stored‑procedure development. - Technical expertise in designing data models, database development, and data mining. - Python or PySpark experience (preferred). - Familiarity with ETL tools such as Talend or Informatica Power Center (preferred). - Experience with Snowflake and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 6‑10 years of relevant experience. Additional Information: - Travel as needed for specific strategic projects. - Ability to work from other locations as required.
