Senior Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities: - Attend to corporate LAN switching, utilizing technologies such as VLAN, VTP, trunking, and access security. - Troubleshoot, track, and resolve day-to-day network issues, including Layer-2 and Layer-3 connectivity problems. - Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot large Cisco voice networks. - Monitor and manage the network to maximize uptime. - Create and implement documentation and procedures to support service operations. - Track network and telecom infrastructure and provide suggestions for further analysis. - Escalate, track, and troubleshoot issues with service providers or vendors. - Collaborate with global teams on network technologies to ensure high production uptime. - Maintain and manage key monitoring systems (e.g., NMIS, Live Action, Cisco Prime Infrastructure) and assist with data analytics and report creation. - Perform daily health checks and implement improvements. - Own support issues through to closure within defined SLA. - Contribute to the knowledge base and propose ideas for knowledge management. - Leverage knowledge from global peers. What We're Looking For: - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in systems/network administration. - Technical expertise in routing, switching, security, and traffic optimization. - Hands-on experience with SNMP, NetFlow protocols, and various network monitoring tools. - Good knowledge of Cisco ISR and ASR platforms running IOS XE. - Experience in alert monitoring, first-level troubleshooting, and ticket handling. - Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies aligned with strategy and roadmap. - Ability to learn quickly with minimal supervision and work with multiple technical teams. - Capability to handle multiple complex tasks concurrently under competing deadlines. - Ability to follow strict policies and change-control procedures.
