Azure Cloud Lead

Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms for business projects. - Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Azure SQL, Automation, Resource Manager, Storage, Networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer), Backup, and Site Recovery. - Design, plan, and implement Azure environments; provision infrastructure as a service on AWS and Azure. - Monitor system and application performance; conduct proactive maintenance of public cloud infrastructure. - Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for reporting and automation. - Provide guidance on Azure PaaS offerings, including auto‑scale configuration, cost optimization, and monitoring dashboard creation using Azure Monitor. - Advise stakeholders on new Azure services, modernization strategies, and migration from IaaS to PaaS, including disaster‑recovery planning. - Recommend and implement cost‑saving measures such as elastic scaling and tiered storage options. - Coordinate training sessions and knowledge sharing on Azure features for application teams. - Act as an advisor for migration projects, defining best‑practice guidelines and supporting external consultations when needed. - Assess project requirements, recommend suitable IT components, and formulate policies for optimal infrastructure utilization. - Supervise IT staff, consultants, vendors, and suppliers; collaborate with department managers and IT analysts to align infrastructure with business needs. What We're Looking For: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5–6 years of experience managing complex cloud and IT infrastructure environments. - Strong communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills. - Excellent time‑management abilities and a focus on baseline performance metrics. - Leadership qualities with experience supervising technical teams. - Technical background with a solid understanding of infrastructure underpinnings in large‑scale environments.
