Website Developer

We are seeking a Website Developer to join our IT team at the head office. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build front‑end and back‑end components of new websites, including architecture and database/server integration. - Create and manage website content, perform updates, and maintain backups. - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins. - Troubleshoot website issues and ensure performance, security, and scalability. - Collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement SEO and SEM strategies. - Manage domain services, website security, and third‑party add‑ons. - Utilize debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug. - Integrate and manage Google Analytics. What We're Looking For: - 3–5 years of experience as a website developer. - Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Proficiency with PHP/MySQL, Node.js, and AJAX. - Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla). - Ability to handle cross‑browser issues, DOM quirks, and server performance tuning. - Proven track record developing responsive websites from designs and wireframes. - Hands‑on experience managing website domains and working with domain service providers. - Knowledge of website architecture, UI/UX design, and security best practices. - Familiarity with SEO strategies and best practices (preferred). - Knowledge of HubSpot (preferred).
